Enseignement supérieur : Enfin les étudiants voient le bout du tunnel !
L’Université du Tchad, longtemps basculée au bord du précipice à cause de l’élasticité de l’année, de l’amateurisme et de l’immixtion des vendeurs d’illusions, retrouve ses lettres de noblesse, à travers la qualité dans la transmission du savoir. Elle n’est plus l’ombre d’elle-même.
Traduisant dans les faits les nouvelles exigences pour un enseignement supérieur de qualité, le Ministre d’Etat, ministre de tutelle, Dr Tom Erdimi a assaini et engagé des reformes l’Enseignement Supérieur, chose appréciée par de nombreux étudiants tchadiens qui ont comblé le quantum horaire comme convenu.
Les Universités du Tchad qui faisaient la fierté à travers la qualité dans la transmission du savoir, avaient rompu depuis belle lurette avec les bonnes habitudes où l’année académique commence fin septembre et s’achève en juin. Les mauvaises habitudes s’étaient installées avec les événements douloureux que notre pays a connus. Ces habitudes ont conduit certains étudiants à fuir le pays pour aller massivement dans les pays voisins. Le Tchad a donc vu sa jeunesse quitter massivement le pays au moment où la manne pétrolière coulait à flot.
Les étudiants n’ont pas tort puisque l’année académique ne prend pas fin dans le temps légalement imparti. Ainsi, un étudiant inscrit en première année termine son cursus LMD (Licence Master Doctorat) en cinq (05) ans au lieu de trois (03) ans. La responsabilité de cette élasticité de l’année est partagée entre étudiants, enseignants et gouvernants.
Faudrait-il le reconnaitre, l’élasticité de l’année est à la fois un véritable enfer pour les étudiants et les administrateurs des académies. Le phénomène d’une année qui commence et se termine l’année suivante en pleine année académique a impacté négativement la réputation de nos universités.
L’actuel Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur, Dr Tom Erdimi, a pris le pari de mettre fin à ce phénomène de chevauchement des années académiques. Aujourd’hui, le résultat est là, les étudiants et les enseignants vont profiter de leurs vacances. Les étudiants pourront se débrouiller pour économiser un peu d’argent, voire aider les parents dans les travaux champêtres pour certains, et paître les brebis pour d’autres. Quant aux enseignants, ils mettront ce temps à profit pour peaufiner et enrichir leurs cours à travers la recherche.
L’exemple du Ministre Tom Erdimi est à suivre puisqu’il s’est fixé des nobles objectifs qu’il a pu atteindre en s’appuyant sur des collaborateurs compétents et intègres. Il est temps qu’on responsabilise des cadres en fonction de leur compétence et intégrité pour booster les différents secteurs clés du pays. C’est à ce prix seulement que l’économie et le problème de l’emploi de la jeunesse sera résolu. Les hautes autorités du pays devront s’en inspirer etdorénavant puiser sur le vivier des cadres qui prennent de l’initiative. En revanche, il est temps de démettre ceux qui ont pour seul objectif de s’enrichir en s’appuyant sur des cadres incompétents cooptés sur fond du népotisme.
