Le calvaire des militaires à la zone des opérations de Kouri-Bougoudi

Kouri-Bougoudi, zone des opérations militaires, située à moins de 100 km de la frontière libyenne est confrontée aux difficultés liées au logement et l’eau, source vitale pour la vie.

 Pour répondre promptement aux attaques monotones des rebelles tchadiens basés au sud libyen, le gouvernement a jugé opportun de créer une zone des opérations militaires, située à l’extrême Nord du Pays, dans la province du Tibesti et à moins de 100 km de la frontière Libyenne afin de contre carrer des éventuelles attaques. Pour ce faire, on ne peut mettre en place une structure et ne peut lui créer des conditions appropriées. À entendre, le commandant des opérations militaires adjoint, le colonel Adam Assane Djéri ses hommes sont exposés aux intempéries des aléas climatiques à savoir la montée de la chaleur en hiver.  S’agissant de la source vitale, le com-ops dit que les citernes viennent jusqu’à Wour pour chercher de l’eau. D’ailleurs, ces citernes sont presque amorties dû à la distance mais aussi et surtout à la mauvaise qualité de la route.

  Les hommes de troupe rencontrés sur place et qui préfèrent garder l’anonymat nous confient qu’ils ont droit à 5 litres d’eau pour une semaine. Ils ajoutent qu’ils se lavent parfois une seule fois pour trois à quatre mois pour ceux qui auront l’accès d’aller à Wour, Zouarké  ou Bardai avec leur chef.

    L’habitat est quasiment inexistant voire pour les responsables militaires. Ce sont des huttes qui sont montées par les résidus des cartons et bien d’autres objets qui peuvent servir à se couvrir pour la chaleur accablante.

      Une autre situation est celle où, certains éléments ont passé plus de quatre années sans être relevés. Or, la relève était d’une année non renouvelable selon les sources militaires recueillies sur place qui préfère l’anonymat.

 Le commandant adjoint des opérations militaires Adam Assane Djéri a saisi l’opportunité en présence du Gouverneur de la province du Tibesti Mahamat Tochi Chidi et les responsables militaires de la zone de défense et de sécurité numéro 6 Tibesti pour lancer un vibrant appel au Gouvernement de la transition afin de construire les logements voire le château pour desservir cette zone en eau.
