Au terme des résultats définitifs proclamés par le Conseil constitutionnel classent Assyongar Masra Succès et Pahimi Padacké Albert ont obtenu chacun, plus de 10% des voix. Selon le code électoral une partie de leurs dépenses engagées pendant la campagne sera remboursée ?

Le candidat du parti Les Transformateurs, Assyongar Masra Succès a obtenu 18,53% des voix et arrive 2ème, après MIDI. Le candidat du parti RNDT-Le Réveil, Pahimi Padacké Albert réalise un score de 16,94% et arrive troisième. Chacun des deux a introduit une requête auprès du Conseil constitutionnel, mais sans gain de cause. Ce qui leur reste dans ce processus électoral est le remboursement d’une partie des dépenses qu’ils ont engagées pendant la campagne présidentielle.

En effet, selon l’article 93 du code électoral, les frais de campagne sont remboursés (uniquement pour les présidentielles) au candidat, si celui-ci obtient un score d’au moins 10%. Le plafond des dépenses remboursables est de 1 500 000 000 de francs Cfa. Le même article dispose : « le montant remboursable est de 30% et dûment justifié en recettes et en dépenses, après vérification de la Cour des comptes ».

Comme tel, seuls Assyongar Masra Succès et Pahimi Padacké Albert ont franchi la barre et peuvent être éligibles de bénéficier du remboursement des 30% des dépenses engagées pendant la campagne présidentielle.
