La presse tchadienne engage les activités marquant la journée de la liberté de la presse
Le 3 mai prochain, le Tchad à l’instar des autres pays du monde célébrera la journée mondiale de la liberté de la presse. Pour marquer cette célébration, le comité d’organisation du 30èmeanniversaire de cette journée organise plusieurs activités, du 1er au 3 mai 2023.
Ce matin, le Président du comité d’organisation de célébration, M. Djibrine Mahamat Adam a fait une communication à la Maison des Médias du Tchad pour situer sur cette célébration. Le thème retenu cette année par l’UNESCO est : « Façonner un avenir de droits : la liberté d’expression, clé de voûte des droits humains ». Pour le président du comité d’organisation, M.Djibrine Mahamat Adam, le Tchad commémore cette journée sous le thème : « responsabilités sociales des journalistes en période de transition : cas du Tchad ». Selon lui, cette journée et surtout le thème national permettra aux hommes de Médias de jeter un regard rétrospectif dans la gestion de liberté de presse et du pluralisme médiatique afin d’apprécier le chemin parcouru et d’en tirer de leçons pour mieux amorcer ce tournant décisif. Et d’ajouter que cette journée permettra également d’interpeller le pouvoir public face à sa responsabilité de protection des journalistes et d’assurer la promotion des médias indépendants.
En outre, le président du comité d’organisation a annoncé les activités au programme pendant cette célébration, notamment des séries de conférences débats et un match de football.
