Doumpa Ndoloum : licencié en droit, converti en cordonnier

Jeune diplômé sans emploi, licencié en droit à l’Université de N’Djamena, Doumpa Ndoloum Germain choisit de faire la cordonnerie pour joindre les deux bouts. Malgré les difficultés de tous bords, le juriste ne se laisse pas pétrir par la vie, il excelle dans cette activité qu’il en fait son métier et ce, avec détermination et persévérance.

Doumpa Ndoloum Germain est un jeune diplômé sans emploi, habitant le quartier Gassi dans la commune du 7ème arrondissement de N’Djaména. Après le cycle de Licence en Droit, à l’université de N’Djamena, il y a déjà trois ans, il entame des formations parallèles en informatique et en entreprenariat, en attendant d’éventuels emplois ou l’intégration à la fonction publique. Mais, se rendant compte qu’il est inconcevable de rester attendre, bras croisés, Doumpa Ndoloum Germain décide d’entreprendre, grâce à son savoir-faire, dans un domaine autre que le droit, afin de se prendre en charge, face au manque d’emploi. Il se lance résolument dans la cordonnerie. Entre découragement, critique et stigmatisation, le jeune juriste converti en cordonnier reste focus sur son activité. Car, selon lui, cette activité est également un don de Dieu. « Un talent que Dieu a mis en moi pour me permettre de faire face aux situations, à l’exemple de  Betsaleel, un personnage biblique à qui Dieu a donné du talent pour contribuer à la construction de son temple », explique-t-il. D’où le nom de sa petite entreprise « Betsaleel  création».

Installé au quartier Atrone, derrière le siège du groupe medias Visionnaire, Doumpa Ndoloum Germain confectionne et répare des chaussures, des sacs, des porte-clés, des ceintures et bien d’autres objets, en cuir. « Les chaussures se vendent à 5000FCfa  l’unité,  tandis que les sacs à main des femmes se vendent entre 7500 à 15000FCfa, selon les tailles», renseigne-t-il.  Les recettes réalisées lui permettent de prendre en charge, sa famille.

Toutefois, le jeune entrepreneur n’est pas exempte de difficultés. Au rang desquelles, le manque de moyens financiers en vue de passer de la création manuelle aux techniques modernes. « Ces moyens me permettront de me procurer du matériel afin de moderniser mon travail et me professionnaliser. C’est pourquoi, toute personne de bonne volonté, institution publique ou privée désirant m’aider dans ce sens est la bienvenue », plaide–t-il.

Pour lui, il ne faut pas se fier aux diplômes, ni penser travailler forcément dans son domaine de formation, moins encore espérer à l’intégration à la fonction publique. Il faut plutôt entreprendre pour se prendre en charge et cela contribue également au développement du pays, exhorte-t-il.
